Adjustment of seats and headrests

Position of seats and headrests

The design of seats of the car guarantees the maximum comfort to the person sitting in them, simultaneously providing conditions of the most effective performance of the functions by belts and safety pillows. Soft stuffing of pillows and backs provides additional protection of the driver and passengers in emergencies.

The choice of position of a seat also influences safety of the person sitting in it. For example, at excessive displacement of a forward seat the risk травмирования sitting forward increases at operation of a pillow of safety, and also risk of ejection through a windscreen at a head-on collision.

The increase in an inclination of a back of a seat will worsen fixing of a body by a seat belt, - the more the back is rejected back, the above probability проскальзывания bodies of a belt sitting under zone section at strong front blow, and that is heavier the got traumas can.

Fix a forward seat in as much as possible removed (convenient for driving realisation) from a steering wheel/panel of devices position, a back result in vertical position.

Headrests prevent травмирование cervical department of a backbone and a head at blow behind. The headrest should be adjusted on height so that its top cut was flush with an upper edge of an ear sitting.

Adjustment of forward seats

Adjustment of forward seats is made by means of the switches located on the bottom part of pillows of seats.

Do not operate simultaneously with several switches since it can lead to an overheat and failure of the mechanism of adjustment.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For поднимания and changes of a corner of an inclination of a headrest simply pull it in a corresponding direction; for lowering – press not a clamp and lower a headrest.

Options of two variants of position of a seat of the driver can be brought in memory of the onboard computer.
For this purpose the ignition key should be in position ON, and selector AT lever – in position P. Adjust position of a seat and, keeping button "SET", press the button 1 or 2 on the block of switches of adjustment of position of a driver's seat (№17 illustrations the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on panels of devices). Confirming to successful record of options the short sound signal should sound. The second variant of options of position of a seat similarly registers. For rewriting of options operate with the way besides described above.
For installation of sitting of the driver in the position stored in memory, simply press the button with number corresponding to the demanded variant of options. If not demanded options are casually chosen, to stop seat moving it is possible pressing the necessary button or pressing a brake pedal.

Adjustment and folding of back seats

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For adjustment of position of pillows and a corner of an inclination of backs of back seats pull for corresponding clamps and move a seat to demanded position then release clamps and be convinced of that, they have returned to a starting position.

Slightly to incline a back of a back seat it is possible having moved a seat forward back.

For increase in volume of a luggage space possibility of folding of a back seat is provided. Preliminary clean seat belts from a pillow of a back seat. Completely lower a headrest, pull one hand upwards the corresponding clamp of a back close to a headrest, and other hand incline a back forward and combine it.

Do not pull for a clamp not to break it. Do the procedure described above for other party of a back of a seat.

Adjustment of height of headrests of back seats is made similarly to adjustment of headrests of forward seats.
